North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said in a speech before his state's military academy that Pyongyang must be more ready for war than ever.
He based his warning on "the complicated international situation and the unsafe and unstable military and political situation around North Korea."
"If the enemy dares to attack North Korea, we will hit him without hesitation, making use of all available resources," Kim said.
In addition, he instructed his forces to be prepared with a "mental, ideological, moral, and tactical" advantage.

Why would any body attack the NORKs?
They have no unique natural resources nor a useful population to enslave.
Unlike our Navy’s “best”, at least he has the scope on right.
NK is literally sitting on trillions of dollars of rare Earth minerals.
The legitimacy of the North Korean regime depends on an ideology of a constant state of mobilization and readiness for war. Without that, the regime would lose its basis for existence and fat boy Kim and his family and their loyalists would soon be dead or in exile in China being bled of all their liquid assets.
It sounds like China sent him a text.
Pretext, to try and unify the Koreas under his rule.
Trump tried to use that argument as to why NK should modernize it’s politics and bring in human rights.

Not as much as the reserves believed to be held in NK, which is more mountainous than SK.
I presume anything public, meaning that the world knows about, that NK does is done with China’s knowledge and permission and possibly influence.
