Scrabble has truly stood the test of time as one of the most popular board games in history, and we want to ensure the game continues to be inclusive for all players,” he said. “For anyone who’s ever thought, ‘word games aren’t for me’, or felt a little intimidated by the Classic game, Scrabble Together Mode is an ideal option.”

Mattel said it conducted research among British board-gamers that shows that competitiveness is perceived as declining in younger generations. Of the 2,000 people surveyed, 35% believed baby boomers are the most competitive, followed by millennials on 31% and Gen-Z on 29%.

They left out all the ‘N’ pieces and tripled the amount of LGBTQ pieces.

It’s zen Scrabble.

I guess on this new version a playa loses points for spelling a word correctly.

I wonder if the game is based on this;

A few weeks ago I was looking at some pictures from the 1930s.

One of them was of the ladies who were dancing in a burlesque show. While they were waiting for their turn to go on they were whiling away the time by playing chess.

The problem is not that people have become dumber but that they have been taught to be afraid to stretch their wings because may fail. And someone may record it on their phone, post it on the internet and people will be laughing at them forever.

It is sadly not an unreasonable fear.

You have to teach your kids to be brave despite that possibility.

I heard that learning to play piano is difficult too. Maybe if they had less keys would help.

They do have pianos with less keys.

Maybe each tile will have a little picture — but not of white folk with blue eyes, for sure.
