Agreed, and yet he apparently won’t ever be replaced until he quits/retires.
So moving forward, how to best limit the damage he causes by his anti-Republican behavior?
BTW, have any US Congressmen ever publicly admitted that they were being blackmailed? Or is the process so smooth and perfected that the blackmailers have also frightened their targets into never publicly speaking out against what is happening?

My understanding is that if they admit anything, it will mean prison. So, you are not likely going to get an admission from any of them, which is unfortunate.

Let me try to explain how the black mail works on even good men. A Congressman gets newly elected and he’s staying at a hotel room until he gets things set up for his two or six year term. He goes to Congress and does his job and he goes back to his hotel.

In his hotel room, there is a fourteen year old girl waiting. He doesn’t do anything, but pictures are taken and accusations are made. He is told that these pictures will be released and it will be made publicly known that he had liaisons with this girl unless he tows the line.

He tells them that he won’t toe the line and he’s going to do his job. So, it becomes publicly known that he was in his hotel room with a 14 year old girl and it is alluded that they had relations. He admits that he found her in his room, but he denies that he did anything with her and that is the truth.

Are you going to believe him with the evidence that has been publicly released? Do you see how blackmail works against good people?
