A candidate running for Senate in New Jersey was ruthlessly goaded on social media after claiming the “climate crisis” was to blame for the Friday earthquake that rocked the tri-state area.
Green Party member Christina Amira Khalil shared the controversial message just minutes after the quake, which was the strongest temblor to strike near the Big Apple in 140 years.
“I experienced my first earthquake in NJ. We never get earthquakes. The climate crisis is real. The weirdest experience ever,” Khalil wrote on X.

I had always suspected that solar eclipses were somehow tied to global “climate change” but now I’ve become a BELIEVER! what CAN’T global climate change do? I’ve traded the scientific education learned from years of being taught the sciences of the “unwoke, undereducated Men” who created the sciences in the first place and yet now they are considered Neanderthals with no idea of how the natural world works? science today is based on “IF you claim scientific knowledge then you must be right because you’ve said what you “know” to be true”. even when there is no proof to offer.

Khalil, originally from Bergen County, grew up in foster care but managed to obtain a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master's of Arts Degree in Social Work from Ramapo College.Khalil volunteered at the Bergen County LGBTQ+ Alliance and at Hackensack High School, the latter during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The reality is clear: the North American tectonic plate is shifting. Has nothing to do with climate change, the eclipse, etc. It actually has to do with the center of mass of the solar system based on a one in ten thousands years alignment between the Sun, Earth, and Jupiter.
