Many on this sight think there is “proper” wage for a welder, carpenter etc. Many here contend that the cost of labor should not be based on supply and demand but what the employer can “afford”. Until Conservative agree in a free market for labor I will be begrudgingly in favor of a decent MW.

One problem with a “decent” minimum wage is the people who get to decide what “decent” is.

If they decide wrong there is higher unemployment.

Note they never issue apologies to those who lost their jobs.
