What can be done by an executive order can be undone by an executive order. No president can bind a future president by an executive order.

<>No president can bind a future president by an executive order.<>

I recall a federal judge or two that prevented PDJT from rescinding an illegal Obama exec order. IIRC it was DACA.

But, the Constitution is, without doubt, on our side.

Per Article II, the President IS the executive branch.

I’m certain that Judge Clarence Thomas would delight in ruling this obvious fact.

For the perusal of all on this thread, EOs have sunset dates (1 year), and bidAn has renewed many of Trump's EOs, and then renewed the renewals. Including 13848, foreign interference in a domestic election. Here is just one:

... For this reason, the national emergency declared on September 12, 2018, must continue in effect beyond September 12, 2022. Therefore, in accordance with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13848 with respect to the threat of foreign interference in or undermining public confidence in United States elections.
