Biden administration approves enormous wind farm off the coast of Martha's Vineyard as part of bid to drastically cut emissions by 2030

President Joe Biden's administration announced Tuesday their approval of another large offshore wind project off of the coast of Martha's Vineyard, despite ongoing legal battles to block similar projects.

The Interior Department approved the New England Wind Project, a planned commercial off-shore project roughly 20 nautical miles south of Martha's Vineyard and 24 nautical miles southwest of Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The planned wind farm would include up to 129 wind turbines off of the coast of the island, the location of some of the wealthiest homes in the United States.

'The New England Wind project will help lower consumer costs, combat climate change, create jobs to support families, and ensure economic opportunities are accessible to all communities,' Interior Secretary Deb Haaland said celebrating the news in a statement.

Haaland pointedly noted that former President Donald Trump's administration had delayed the production of offshore wind energy.

Trump opposes wind turbines, repeatedly mocking them for destroying the environment, killing birds and whales, and ruining the views of coastal homes.

'Put the windmills up and watch the value of your house — if you’re in sight of a windmill, watch the value of your house go down by 65 percent,' Trump said during a speech in 2019.

Someone let Ron Desantis know that Martha's Vineyard is going to need some cheap labor. I'm sure he would be kind enough to send them some and they would appreciate the help.

Did 0bama approve this? It won’t help help the values of his real-estate there.

Or maybe He is getting his 10% kickback from the wind farm to make up for it.

Biden is totally unaware of this. This is all deep state globalist transhumanists acting on their “hive mind” own.

Boy is Obama gonna be pissed! Maybe the US administrative state is bigger and stronger and more influential than even Hussein Obama. And broader, even, than Michelle’s behind.

RE: Biden Admin. approves enormous wind farm.

Instead of a ceremonial ground breaking, Biden and invite all the DC politicians for a huge wind breaking.💨💨💨💨💨

When you zoom in and look at it, I wouldn’t want to see it. At least it won’t ruin a sunset, I guess.

The wind farm will be too far away for MV residents to truly appreciate.

It is not a farm. It is an electrical factory. Not a farm. A factory.

Don’t think it will fly. MV is notorious for keeping unaesthetic things from view.

This is the one that Ted Kennedy and family nixed because it upset their pristine views off MV.
