A federal judge on Monday tossed part of a lawsuit accusing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis of malfeasance when he flew migrants to Martha’s Vineyard in 2022.

But she said there’s no evidence Mr. DeSantis or his employees were involved in the conduct at issue in Massachusetts, so they weren’t appropriate targets for a lawsuit filed in her district.
“Accordingly, Plaintiffs have failed to show that personal jurisdiction exists over the Individual State Defendants, Huerta and Montgomerie, and thus the Amended Complaint is dismissed without prejudice as to those Defendants,” the judge wrote.

The case stems from Mr. DeSantis’ unabashed decision to fly 50 migrants, most of them Venezuelan, from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard, famously the playground of wealthy Democrats.

The visit made everyone on Island stronger and gave meaning to the term sanctuary.
So if you let loose a rabid animal in an area and it causes a problem, you have no fault or responsibility? Desantis and all who are aiding the problem of not stopping illegals at borders have the results of crimes and problems committed by those illegals on their hands even if people want to think otherwise. If Desantis and other governors and those in authority did their jobs to protect US CITIZENS and stopped illegals at their states borders then they should be praised. All else is aiding the harm and destruction of US and its Citizens.

Plenty of illegals are known to have habit of trashing the land they go thru to get here, some harming along the way.
Also we have immigration laws. Illegals are already doing wrong by coming outside of THAT system.
So yes Desantis and all other governors know any illegal in their state is in the wrong. Those in authority or any person aiding them or dumping them on another state are in the wrong.
