"Trump's potential VP pick Tulsi Gabbard ....."

...... Heck ..... I have bever been very good at Crystal Balling, and I know the future of this nation as well as what is left of the free world is at stake ..... So ... All I know is that I will still vote for Donald J Trump if Tulsi becomes his running mate.

> She loves Hawaii, but her constituents were loony. I think she felt she could no longer represent them.

That's my take on her as well. She supported the party line for the time she was running on their ticket, but clearly she got sick of the hard-left progressive bullshit. She called them out pretty strongly, and finally split.

I tend to think she's sincere in her more centrist, pro-America stance. Would she make a decent VP pick? Maybe, but I'd like to hear more from her about her positions that are still left-ish, and how she's abandoning them. She'll have to talk about that a lot this year to convince me.

She's still a long way from conservative.

I was once a dem. Does that make me a dem? I think not. I respect someone more who can learn and grow. The fact that she denounced the democrat party is a good thing and like me when I left it was a learning curve.

*Tulsi is the ONLY potential VP who brings additional block of voters to Trump ticket*

Sounds like Reagan and Bush. Trump could offer her the job without an endorsement promise in ‘28. That’s the only way.

U folks are slow(again). The biggest positive? She’s a Cougar. Right? Or is it my math?

Leander, Texas (Austin suburb)... Might as well have settled in San Fransisco, Denver etc, or just stayed in Hawaii.. It is a leftist city. She will feel right at home.

I agree and think it could be a large block.

Her interview with Tucker C a few days ago was a very believable story.

Few here would even take the time to watch cause they hate Tucker too

She already shredded the DNC, Hilary and Kamala a few years ago ….
And she’s not in it for the money or she would have ridden that train when she was on it.

“She must have bought a fixer upper.”

She was renting a $2.5 million home in Hawaii prior to this, according to the article, so she must not have any money left.

I remember how intelligent she was in various interviews. Quite centrist even then.
I wonder how she’d poll as VP choice.

Mass immigration from other countries, look at the modern demographics of Texas, the Californians tend to be conservative which is why they are moving to Texas.

I have a niece that lives in Austin. Most conservatives would label her a red headed right wing loon. She is a little unsettling.

I can remember when that was “a women’s prerogative.”

> Isn’t Tulsi anti-Second Amendment?

Not since she told the Democrap Party to shove it a number of years ago. She's taken a different position that is much more pro-2A although not absolutist.

From Wikipedia:
Gabbard has stated that she is a supporter of the Second Amendment. Gabbard says she believes the Second Amendment is necessary so citizens can "defend themselves and our loved ones, and to serve as a check on a tyrannical government seeking to take away our God-given freedoms."[11][12]

Gabbard expressed approval with the Supreme Court's ruling in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen, which held that an individual's right to carry a handgun for self-defense outside the home is protected by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.[11][12]

Doesn't sound like a gun-grabber to me. (My emphasis above)

"Trump used to be a Dem at heart and was flaky. He changed. We trust him. Tulsi? Work in process? Keep options open."

Thank you for that.

She is not a Hawaiian native. She is Samoan. Born in American Samoa.
