Well it certainly seems to me that Russia was an “aggressor” in the sense that they attacked Ukraine. Also Ukraine was an “aggressor” in the sense that they launched counter offenses.
However I think the headline was using the term “aggressor” in a more narrow sense. I am not convinced they are right though. I think Putin is pretty much a tyrant and quite aggressive. However I also realize that the situation is more complicated than simply saying that Russia attacked out of no where for no reason. The conflict is long and complicated with many details that muddy the water.
So was hoping that you could shed light on details the article got wrong since you feel so strongly about it.
These are already NATO countries. If Ukraine is fair game, are these other countries fair game, also?
