House Intelligence chairman Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face The Nation” that more funding for Ukraine will have “overwhelming support” in Congress.

ED O’KEEFE: Thanks for sticking with us. We go now to the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Ohio Congressman Mike Turner, who joins us this morning from Dayton, Ohio. Congressman- Chairman, good morning to you. Our understanding is that Speaker Johnson plans to hold a vote on funding for Ukraine aid when Congress returns a week from tomorrow. Is that still the plan?

There was a definite interest in a negotiated settlement to end the war, but North Vietnam and the USSR were pushing the war as part of a larger communist aggression.
The anti war movement in the US in the 1960s was not about a negotiated settlement it was about a Marxist 5th column in the US trying to force an American unilateral withdrawal from South East Asia to allow the Communists to take control.
Which they did in Vietnam, Cambodia and other countries with disastrous consequences. Millions dead in Vietnam and Cambodia and 2 million boat people fleeing Vietnam.

It's going to be painful, but the current makeup of the Republican Party needs to be dismantled. Never Trumpers will need to embrace the suck that they have created. Once we've reached bottom, they need to crawl back and apologize for their actions.
Personally, I think the die has been cast. We're adding a trillion dollaqrs in debt every 3-4 months, and NO ONE in DC gives a rat's arse. When we hit 40 Trillion by the end of 2025, the debt service on that will be 2 trillion, or twice the current defense budget.
Can someone primary this MORON? Us taxpayers do not want our money securing the Ukraine border because we NEED to secure OUR BORDERS.

Can’t be any worse than what we all have now.
We have seen repeatedly in referendum after referendum after referendum in many countries that when the elites are on one side, the people reject them and vote against.
Just happened in Ireland. In late 2023 in Australia. Brexit. Scotland Referendum.
California Gay marriage and anti-illegal costs referendums. Numerous Maastrich Treaty votes, Canada 1993 Charlottetown. Two Separation Referendums in Quebec.
In 2024 anyone can send money anywhere around the world. There's no excuse for governments to be taxing citizens and then using it against their own choices. If a citizen here wants to support the Ukronazis, they can do so themselves without forcing people that want to support Russians, or that want to support reading literacy programs or an animal rescue shelter or that just need to save money for an upcoming surgery, to fund their own private agenda. It's time to bring back freedom to America. No more "funding" (plundering) for the private agendas of the elites.

The uniparty will do this as long as they can, forever that is. Kickbacks from the military industrial complex, money laundering is well known (ask Xiden) as one of the most corrupt countries in the world. There is no accounting for these billions and that’s why our uniparty politicians love it.
Funny thing is that if the GOPe doesn’t do this and they get kicked out this fall they’ll miss all the kickbacks. That’s their criminal motivation.
And endless money flowing to the war. At least we don’t have a half million men in Ukraine on Russia’s doorstep, but the cost to us is probably going to be equal to VN.
Enjoy permanent minority status, GOP grifters. You’re only in it for the money and you will get that.
