Greetings, Happy Easter.

Have my granddaughter and her boyfriend down although, ahem, they drove around Baltimore and down through Wilmington Del to get here.

Because, you understand, they live one mile from the Francis Scott Key bridge.

Fortunately, Baltimorons pretty much know their way around bridges, tunnels, even bay-bridge/tunnels. I drove over the FSK bridge for five years and through the Harbor Tunnel eight years before that.

Kids got here and I guess they’ll figure their way back home.

Folk, it might sound kind of corny, but as I was awake at 5 am in the morn when Fox was televising that bridge collapse. I normally arise, slowly and sleepily, around that time. But my sleepy mind watched that bridge fall and break apart like a toy and finally I screamed, jumped out of bed, called my daughter, who evidently still sleeps at 5 am. She watched Fox in her room and called up my granddaughter.

Granddaughter was already up as it would seem that everyone in Baltimore was watching all of this, even as MSNBC showed Biden kissing little girls.

At any rate folks, I’m no Bray and doubt I’d successfully verbalize how this event has affected so many of us.

Why....and how?

We have little piers on bayside fuel stations that have concrete pads to protect against errant boats.

My summation of it all as I type?

This is a case where technology outgrew the reality based on a much older technology.

In other words, we have to take a close look at our infrastructure around the world.

But don’t worry. We have Biden, with Hunter’s help, and Buttigieg.

Another morning in Joe’s America and another catastrophic event occurs further wrecking our economy. A ship just suspiciously crashes into one of the most important bridges in the country settling on the bottom of the river. It seems like every day there is another tragedy or critical accident happening while everyday Americans struggle to make ends meet. Sure, would be nice if the people in Moscow on the Potomac had to juggle the same bowling balls average families are.

How in the world does a ship go out of control in a river which has been run for over 200 years and knock down a bridge? Not only a bridge but probably the most important bridge on the east coast since it is so critical for Baltimore harbor. All the fuel trucks and tankers as well as oversize trucks travel that bridge to load their cargo for shipment overseas. In addition, I-95 is the most critical North South highway on the East Coast and you hit the jackpot if you are an America enemy.

It certainly looked like an accident, however like they say in terrorism, it’s always terrorism until it is proven not to be. This is the only way to eliminate this possibility and especially since this was not an old bridge to nowhere, this was one of most economic and strategic bridges in the country.

Of course, the Biden administration is going to downplay it since the last thing they want to admit to is a terrorist attack while he is President but that is the opposite way to handle this. Simply state you are checking all possibilities and not ruling out anything as it looks like the one in a million accidents and caused the worst disaster in years.

This is going to be a real hardship for people on the East Coast as this is going to make transportation and fuel distribution as well as every other good more difficult to deliver. Any way you slice it this is a major infrastructure catastrophe which needs to be rebuilt quickly for transportation and naval support. This is when you need someone competent like Trump to get the job done.

This disaster adds more chaos to the country filled with confusion. It is as if the country has never left Covid and is still under lockdown in its mind. You look at the paranoia from even the most minor cold still wearing masks and fighting with family members over the vax it just never ends.

Add to these issues the invasion of millions of impoverished low skilled criminals and murderers and you have a formula for confusion, depression, and all sorts of mental disfunction. Fortunately for Christians they have God and the Bible to hold onto. This is the shifting sands it talks about and the Rock to hold you together with.

Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever. He is the foundation people need to build their lives around. He says to fear not for he is with you which is how the world truly wants to control you. If you are afraid then they have you which is a major reason they want to end Christianity. They want you looking to gummit not God. They want you to look to the State to enslave you with fear and confusion so they can control your life thinking you are about to lose everything.

You can never lose everything when you put your trust in God. You will always have Jesus no matter how tough times get or chaotic the world becomes. With Jesus you can just put your fears and trust on him. This is the real gift of following Jesus; he owns your fears and holds you in his arms.

No matter how many bridges collapse or millions of invaders cross the border or businesses fall there will always be Jesus letting you put your burdens on his shoulders. His forgiveness is forever while his guidance is for a lifetime. The best way to combat the chaos and confusion the world provides.
