Did I hear correctly that a ship’s navigation can be hacked and that a rudder manipulated to steer a ship remotely ? The Baltimore barge appeared to veer noticeably starboard toward the bridge support column.

It did make that turn. There could be a number of things that caused that. Maybe the anchor that was dragging caught something on the bottom. Maybe steered somehow—stuck rudder makes sense. Was it hacked? Lots of unknowns.
