They can now flee

True they could, but I predict that they won't, at least not until Trump's victory is certified by Congress. Then they have two weeks before Trump is sworn in to flee. They may start preparing now, but they will not leave anytime soon.

Outside of Academia or lobbying groups, these Congressional staffers are likely unemployable in other jobs.

"The most fundamental fact about the ideas of the political left is that they do not work. Therefore we should not be surprised to find the left concentrated in institutions where ideas do not have to work in order to survive." - Thomas Sowell

Functioning as a Democrat legislature.

They want to pass more stupid laws like carbon tax in Canada.

Gridlock is a feature of our system. We can thank our founders.

“Gridlock is a feature of our system. We can thank our founders.”

***********

Our system is increasingly run by a massive and overbearing administrative state that was never imagined by the Founders. Our representatives in the Swamp are abdicating their functions and responsibilities to unelected officials.

That’s not gridlock; its dysfunction.

You're right. But if you think it's that bad, you can move to Canada, lol.

So far, we're doing okay. Relatively speaking.

Ironic, the very same people contributing to those conditions threaten to leave.

What, praytell, could a “Senior Staffer” actually do in the real world? Actually work? I will wager that not even one will quit, and that this is merely a tantrum to see if anybody cares. So now they have their answer.

Plus where else do you get free insider trading stock tips as a side benefit?

>Gridlock is a feature of our system. We can thank our founders.<

Then along came the 17th Amendment to ruin a good system.

Move the capitol for national security reasons. Many won’t move. Win-win.

Why not move the Capitol to Chicago? Most flights are under 2 hours to Chicago.

You’re way ahead of me. Then they’ll really quit.

They are scared shitless.

If in office they can be compelled to testify provided those in charge have the balls to push the protocol correctly.

As a civilian it’s a different matter.
