Rev. Al does not know what is in former President Trump’s heart. But as a Baptist, the good reverend knows, or should know, that discussing religion and attending religious gatherings are not essential for salvation.

I'm going to buy one of these Bibles just because it would annoy the right people. I'm not a King James only person but the KJV is a reliable translation. Unless it goes too far in its patriotism and drifts into idolatry of country, I see no harm in this Bible. Our country was established with a primarily Christian worldview.

I'll buy it on March 31 in honor(?) of the Transgender Day of Visibility. Just a little poke in the eye for the alphabet people and the Brandon Administration who are both among the right people to annoy.

Sharpton completely misses the difference between 'religious' and 'spiritual'. Religion implies 'rules' in order to 'earn' salvation. Christ condemned the religious leader's politics over the people in first century Palestine (Israel did not exist then) and challenged their 'laws' on every level. ex.."Let he who is without sin cast the first stone..." and about working on the Sabbath " "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out?". Paul clearly shows that Gods grace is free thru faith and cannot be earned: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God". Sharpton is clearly being a religious tool for the political left and any real Christian sees that. In my opinion, if he wants to help the left he should keep his mouth shut...and reconsider: “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?"
