John Fetterman breaks with Kamala Harris: Democratic Senator slams VP for saying Israel will face 'consequences' for a Rafah ground offensive and says Netanyahu should be allowed to finish Hamas

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) criticized Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday after she indicated Israel should face 'consequences' if they launched a major ground offensive in Rafah.

Both Biden and Harris have warned Israeli Prime Benjamin Bibi Netanyahu not to invade Rafah as part of Israel's military goal of rooting out Hamas terrorists in the region and freeing the hostages held in captivity after the October 7 attacks.

When Harris was asked by ABC News Senior Congressional Correspondent Rachel Scott on Sunday whether she would rule out considering 'consequences' for Israel if they invaded Rafah, Harris replied, 'I am ruling out nothing.'

'Hard disagree,' Fetterman replied on social media, featuring an image of a news headline generated by the interview. 'Israel has the right to prosecute Hamas to surrender or to be eliminated.'

Harris reiterated the administration's position on Israel's decision to invade Rafah.

'We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,' she said in her ABC interview on Sunday.

Fetterman has emerged as a Democratic figure staunchly in support of Israel after the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks.

'Hamas owns every innocent death for their cowardice hiding behind Palestinian lives,' he continued on social media.

Fetterman also shared an image of a story of Israel's plans to attack Rafah, backing the effort.

The communists don’t allow dissent. He’s going to fall down a flight of stairs pretty quick.

A number of good things from Fetterman.

Zero from Harris.

Ominous that the probable next President is not “ruling out” anything harmful to Israel. She is one heartbeat away as they say, with a declining Biden.

Not only is Fetterman showing more courage than his fellow Democrats, he’s showing more courage than most Republicans.

On a related note, Fetterman has been relentless in his demand that corrupt Democrat Senator Menendez resign. Amazing, eh?

Yeah, me too. I thought that he was going to be a rubber stamp for the RATS and whatever they wanted to do. Turns out that he has some integrity after all.

It is helpful to know that PA’s democrat gov is Jewish and both well in control of the state party machinery and eager to be seeking higher office, the state’s Muslim population is far less influential than it’s Jewish pipulation, and Fetterman - despite his oafish appearance and brain damage, is no dummy.

> Besides being pro Israel, what good things has Fetterman done/said? <

Fetterman has been critical of a foreign (Japanese) company taking over US Steel. He says US Steel is an important defense industry. Fetterman had a point there.

And as I noted in my post #7, Fetterman has been relentless in his call for corrupt Democrat Senator Menendez to resign. Fetterman just doesn’t mention it in passing. He openly mocks Menendez, and calls him “the senator for Egypt.”

(Menendez has been accused of taking bribe money from the Egyptian government.)

Video here:

As a side note, this is just another example of how the world has been turned upside down. I never thought I’d be speaking up for Fetterman. Yet here I am.

Whatever drugs they are administering to Fetterman, they should also give to every left-wing politician in DC and the RINOs, too.

I agree with what you said there. But here’s the thing. The Jewish vote everywhere is pretty much in the Democrat Party’s pocket. The Muslim vote is smaller, but more volatile. We saw that in the recent Michigan Democrat primary.

So it would seem to me that if it were all about votes, Fetterman would be wooing the Muslims. Just as Biden is doing.

But Fetterman doing the exact opposite. I really think he is operating out of conviction.
