There is no “credible indication” of terrorism involved in the demise of the Francis Scott Key Bridge after it snapped at around 01:30 local time Tuesday following a container ship crashing into it.
The landmark structure in the U.S. city of Baltimore collapsed into the Patapsco River in the aftermath, however Maryland Governor Wes Moor has made clear “the preliminary investigation points to an accident. We haven’t seen any credible evidence of a terrorist attack.”
Special agent Bill DelBagno of the FBI’s Baltimore field office agreed, saying, “the FBI on very first looking at and assessing this matter form an investigative standpoint, I want to be clear there is no specific or credible information to suggest there are ties to terrorism in this incident.”

Kind of a what-the-heck moment with this one.
I’ll bet the FBI prepared their statement for this event a week ago.
The Harbor Pilot should have been onboard steering the ship until it got out until open water. The Harbor Pilots are supposed to know the terrain and it makes it curious how this even happens.
Just DEI engineering. </sarcasm>
I don’t think it’s terrorism either, but how can they make that determination that fast?
CYBER terrorism. Very suspicious “power outages” and seemingly steered directly at the support.
How many Muslim crewmen were aboard? Were the engines sabotaged?
Answering none/no to these questions means it was a terrible accident, which could have cost many more lives but for the warning called in by the crew prior to the collision.
Reminds me of the Las Vegas slaughter. The FBI quickly came out and said they did not know who did it, or anything about it, but they knew it was not terrorism.
Whether this was terrorism or not, this tragedy has the potential to disrupt the supply chain for some time.
As America appears to be collapsing, we have the collapse of The Francis Scott Key Bridge.
I don’t think it was terrorism, either. The FBI was only there to see if they could link it to Donald Trump somehow.
It seems like they lost power in strong currents and winds. This makes the knowledge of the harbor pilot moot.
If you can’t trust the FBI...oh wait..never mind.
Engines fail, no headway. When a ship loses headway, it cannot be steered.
You know what is credible? The video showing the ship suddenly veering, on a clear night with lots of visibility, from its original path right into the Key bridge support. That sharp turn it suddenly took was more than obvious.
War of 1812 and the battle over Baltimore harbor gave Francis Scott Key the inspiration to write what would become our nations national anthem.
That bridge over Baltimore harbor was named after him. I find it quite symbolic with the fall of that bridge with the fall of this country
So not even 24 hours after it happens, FBI declares no terrorism? Because an act of terrorism would reflect badly on you-know-who for letting millions of unvetted invaders into the country...
I find it curious that such an accident could happen today, in this age of radar, global positioning satellites and sonar. Even sportfishermen are using sonar devices that can see underwater.
Fibbies get one correct !!!
