Wild video indeed.

I’m starting to think the destruction of our travel infrastructure is deliberate.

Ship lights on and off
A couple times ahead of impact.

Centerline of the Dali appeared to be at least 200 - 300 feet outside of the marine ship traffic lane.

Here’s the ship lane map, there is an island after the bridge, so the ship splits the support on starboard and island on port. This map does not show the accident, just the route ships take under the bridge.

It’s not a collision. Its an allision .

In a collision, two moving vessels collide with each other, while in an allision, a moving vessel hits a stationary object,

agenda free tv showed the maritime track -

it turned from where it was docked, entered the channel, was gong towards the middle of the span, when it changed course, and it looks like it slowed down, but from where it changed course, to where it hit the support, appears to be a straight line.

Tell what to Cuba? They’ve allied with the Soviets and, now, Russia since their revolution.

A suspected terrorist ( don’t tell me this does not look like a terror attack ) crashes his foreign made/flagged ship full of imported Chinese crap into a US bridge. You can’t make this stuff up. I am sure Chinese steel will be used to make the new bridge.

“ Terrorism? Or the Capt is a DEI hire? Just speculation at this point. The 48 hr rule applies.”
***********************************************************

Yep, just like the Moscow terrorism event, it’s always wise to apply the 48 hour rule. I believe the ship would have been steered by local “pilot” through the bay and into the harbor so that may increase the DEI possibilities.

We need some good Russian interrogators to get to the bottom of it. 🙀🙀😃

“You poke the bear hard enough and long enough, and he hits back. Though most likely not, this could be pay back for the Crocus terrorist attack.”

So, basically, Putin is a puppet of Western politics and was manipulated into attacking Ukraine?

Capt. Abdul may have pulled a gun on the harbor pilot. In my opinion this is terrorism until proven otherwise.

Yup. It was a bad design as far as protection from ship impact. But what is worse is that there were no serious modifications to the area around the piers to prevent this from happening. Not in all of these years.

That is a distinct possibility. The sea is always ready to sink your ship and kill you, and harbors and anchorages are also demanding and often dangerous. Even when licensing, promotions, and assignments are based strictly on ability, a good record, and proven skills, poor ship handling and lapses in attention are all too common. Add in DEI and unqualified deck officers and harbor pilots can easily wreak havoc with deadly consequences.

And what kind of poor design would allow the entire ship to lose power all at once. They don’t have multiple generators and circuits for a ship that size.

It is std proceedure when ramming a bridge to blink your running lights. It’s in all the seamanship training manuals. /sarc

Dali had a prior allusion on 2016.

Here is basic info - shop was 300 meters, about 1000 feet long, and a draft of about 12 meters, 40 feet:
