What's the big deal, what do you think a bank is anyway, just numbers assigned to accounts., with the vast majority of it assets being "virtual".
Why do you think banks fold when too many depositors make a withdrawal at the same time ?

CBDC is a hill worth dying on. So to speak. It MUST be stopped here in the USA!
They’ll do it via their 3rd party minions, like they learned from the Censorship Industrial Complex. They’ll coerce independent banks, card services, paypal, etc. to go along. Bribe them, or threaten them. Likely both.
They’ll convert banking until they can phase out actual currency.
CBDC MUST BE STOPPED!!!
