How do ISIS/ISIL coexist with the Taliban which I understand is the ruling power in Afghanistan after Biden tuck and run from there? Also I didn’t know ISIS didn’t like Iran as I thought I read ISIS has existed and grown (since Trump pretty much defeated them) and has been training IN Iran. Seems the Iranian military wouldn’t approve of that if ISIS had compounds within Iran.
From the article -
“Last year, Iran blamed the group for two separate attacks on a major shrine in southern Shiraz – the Shah Cheragh – which killed at least 14 people and injured more than 40.
The US claimed that it intercepted communications confirming that the group was preparing to carry out attacks before coordinated suicide bombings in Iran in January this year killed nearly 100 people in the southeastern Iranian city of Kerman. ISKP claimed responsibility for the Kerman attacks.”
Russia / Soviets have been killing jihadis, long before us and, also allying and using them, for their own purposes.
