To: Harmless Teddy Bear

Yes. Well, I realize Andy and Barney went home and were on call at night and on weekends, unless there was some event in town. Amos locked himself up at night. Is that how small towns operate?

I read here on FR that Pittsburgh is no longer responding to calls at night unless your life is in danger.

Don't have anyone who locks himself up but aside from that pretty much.

My township is around 1,200 and we have three full time with three reserve in case something very bad should happen.

Down the road is a town of about 2500 and they have five full time with three reserve.

Occasionally you have a violent crime, an armed robbery, a rape or murder but that is something that happens maybe once a year if that. 54% of the counties in the US had no murders at all in the past year.
