So much for “conservative” Speaker Mike Johnson.
What a massive disappointment.

Another trillion here, more trillions there, and pretty soon you’re talking about...

They needed “more time” to pass appropriations bills.
No more appropriations bills have been passed, as was intended.
They just want more continuing resolutions, to eliminate the power of the purse check on the executive agencies.

So we're not going to have floor debate on each appropriations bill like was promised, en?
They can't do that because the agencies have no idea what they are even doing with what they spend now? Other than we need more for the climate and sexually confused special interest groups in each agency......to save democracy.

Time to vacate the Speaker again.
The best we can do is gum up the works, and run out the clock until November.

Good news, with the current rate of inflation we’re all going to be millionaires soon. We’ll all own $250,000 cars, smoke $75.00 cigars, eat $100.00 hamburgers. We’ll be living the high life...

How can anyone expect congress to get anything done that The People want if they keep adding these damned add-ons, supplements and earmarks?
I am so sick of bills losing their intent after everyone shovels their sh!t on to it.
If Critter A has to add gimees so Critter B will vote for it then Critter B is a lazy scumbag.
Hey! Critter B: If you want something 'for your constituents' write a damn bill to ask for it and stop bloating eveyone else's 20 page bill into 1000 page monstrosities with hidden bribes and language the kills the original intent of the bill itself.
GAH!
