Depends on the woman. Some women I've known had a perfectly wonderful natural scent about them, sans any perfume or even deodorant.
OTOH, other women I've known were... difficult to be near, even with deodorant, and perfume only made it worse since it couldn't mask the "natural odor".
Diet, culture, genes....
