In a just world, McAfee would have disqualified Willis from the case and thus the entire DA's office. If AG Carr doesn't indict Willis for perjury, then no one in Georgia can be charged with such a crime in the future as precedent will have been set.

In GA, the Attorney General is an independent elected official. Kemp can’t order the AG to indict or not indict anyone any more than he can order a County Sheriff to arrest someone.
