The former civil liberties group continues morphing into a progressive organization. The ACLU morphed into a hard left progressive organization decades ago. They have cast off the last paper thin veneer of being a civil rights organization.

Organizations with money or power will get subverted over time by liberals, communists or whatever they call themselves. If their original purpose was what conservatives would call good, they’ll be infiltrated and subverted. The Annenberg Foundation is a good example. Banks, government offices, trusts, everything with money, influence or power will, over time, be taken over.
I suspect what happens is young people dress up and act conservative. Over time, they take over as people retire or die. It’s like the pod people. You wake up one day and everyone is acting differently. The Left is brilliant at this.
