If so, you can find out the answer to the question, and if the answer is ‘yes,’ Chris can hire a lawyer and take steps to put a stop to it. Ben Franklin said the United States was “a republic if we can keep it.” So fight to “keep it” with every tool at your disposal. Whining is not a plan.

Same answer as to the last three: Stop passively complaining and start actively fighting to preserve it.

Do not buy a gun. You’ll get flagged for special attention.

Only buy ammo if you need it for sporting use.

Do not buy a gun legally. Buy it under the counter or make it yourself. Buy the tools necessary for the latter.

Compare voting in Siberia to pizza boxes covering windows in Detroit, Black Panthers with night sticks intimidating would be voters in Philadelphia and Ruby Freeman pulling ballots out of drawers and running them multiple times in Atlanta:

Give it a rest. The only one you’re fooling is yourself. Ukraine is still fighting. They win some and they lose some, and that’s how wars go.

This is a war of attrition. Ukraine will lose based on that fact alone.

Hard to say. They may be lying. If I lived in Russia, I’ll tell everyone “Putin is great” and I’ll vote for him. But that is not the truth.

“Stop passively complaining and start actively fighting to preserve it.”

The House of Representatives had the power of the purse and refused to use it.

We have Republican Congressmen quitting their jobs and greatly endangering the country. How difficult is it to say ‘Yea’ or ‘Nay’ and live on $174,000/year?

They win some and they lose some, and that’s how wars go.

When was the last time Ukraine won anything? Ukraine is losing, not gaining, DAILY. For months, that has been the case.

Last year, Ukraine was on the offensive most of the year and STILL lost ground.

Continuing this war guarantees that Ukraine will continue to shrink and the more Ukrainians will die. That's all that will be accomplished.

Russia is getting stronger, not weaker, because this war.

It's time start to facing reality and, most importantly, THAT AMERICANS CARE MORE ABOUT THE PROBLEMS HERE RATHER THAN THE ONES WE CAUSED IN UKRAINE. What about that don't you understand?

We’ll see. Can Russia’s politics continue to sustain this war, and continue to sustain Putin. We’ll see. Vietnam was a war of attrition, too. JFK, LBJ and then Nixon all were thrown from power, one in a pine box, one by dropping out of an election, and one by resignation, all related to Vietnam.

I’m not pontificating and who’s up and who’s down in battles. You seem to need that reassurance. Well, go talk to someone at the US War College or General Keane or something. Maybe they can make sense of it all. I hear lots of contradictory stuff, and both sides keep claiming that the side they favor is winning. Have fun. Russia might have won a battle here or lost a battle there. But they’re losing the war.

Now why aren’t you over there in Ukraine, fighting for oppression and the neo-Czar. Come on. Russia’s winning. Get your licks in while you can.

What are you doing to preserve it?

That said, other than voting, I see very little civil disobedience. people on the right have never been much at being activists. Jan 6th they tried a peaceful protest and look what it got for them. People even put up with scorn from people on our own side.

People have to choose a side in this good against evil battle. They can't have it both ways and show support for some of the policies of the other side.

I can't see anything good for America in any policies of Joe Biden, RINOs, and the left. Straddling the fence on certain issues is seen on this site daily.

Only one thing could work. All or nothing.

“What are you doing to preserve it?”

I’m speaking freely from Israel, and can’t be extradited to the US no matter what I say.

Yourself?

” I see very little civil disobedience. people on the right have never been much at being activists.”

Get better at it.

I don’t see a whole lot of civil disobedience in Israel either. They allowed their government to ram those covid jabs into them with very little disobedience.

I saw more disobedience in the US regarding that.

General Westmoreland had complete freedom to decide how to prosecute the war in South Vietnam. It was he who decided to conduct of a war of attrition, using search and destroy tactics, in which progress was measured by was body count.

His premise was that if he could kill enough of the enemy, they would lose heart and cease their aggression against the ARVN. In his single-minded pursuit of that objective, Westmoreland ignored two other crucial aspects of the war, improvement of the ARVN and pacification.

General Westmoreland squandered 4 years of his troops’ bravery and support by the public, the Congress, and most of the media for American involvement in the war due to his manic commitment to fighting a war of attrition.

Nobody in the chain of command was competent to critique Westmoreland’s performance. LBJ had no understanding of military affairs whatsoever, nor did McNamara. General Earle Wheeler was essentially a staff officer with virtually no troop leading experience, much less combat acumen.

General Westmoreland’s incompetence lost the Vietnam War.

And three presidents bit the dust. Putin’s been in power too long as it is, and he’s repeating Westmoreland’s stupidity.

“... Free speech is America is on it’s way out ..”

Yes, indeed. In fact is it over. How many topics can we feel free to speak about. Are we free to express our unpopular views on homosexuality, transgenderism, Muslims, migration, J6, the POTUS, Ukraine, Russia, China, NATO, BLM. intafda, Obama, etc.

I suspect everyone of us on FR is on some governmental agency’s “watch list.” That doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is I can’t afford attorney’s fees.
