Israel took the equivalent of ten 9/11s in an afternoon a half year ago. Israel will "get over" October 7th 2023 attack only after Hamas is completely wiped out.
While the invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq were ongoing, Congress, the press, and frankly most of the U.S. populace were pretending civilian casualties were exceptions. In all conflicts, the average civilian to soldier loss ratio for all causes is 9:1, and even for the U.S. Israel has it down to 3:1. The Israeli army is called the most moral army for a reason. They do more to avoid civilian causalities than any other army.
