This does not let Trump totally off the hook. Trump picked Pence. Then again, Donald Trump is far from stupid. So I’m rather confident that Trump 2.0 will be a better judge of character than Trump 1.0.

Correct. We praise Trump when he does well. We disagree with him when he messes up. Picking solid people has been a problem for him. He uas a more business approach to it rather than a common moral/political background. It has bitten him multiple times.

In spite of everything including Pence:
Trump accomplished more for Americans in a 4 year term than any President in your lifetime.

-I want his campaign poster to be his mug shot.
-I want his theme song to be Live And Let Die (Guns & Roses version).
-And I want his motto to be No More Mr. Nice Guy.
When DJT says “I chose some that I would not choose again...” MP has to be at the top of that list.
I believe Pence was the GOP’s requirement for ‘allowing’ Trump to become president. It’s been done before - I forget the other president who also ‘had’ to take an unworthy VP to get GOP support.
I think Pence was Deep State ‘plan b’ so if they could remove Trump by any means possible, then their man Pence was lined up to hand control of the US back to the Deep State.
