Fani Willis hearing live updates: Case can continue if she or special prosecutor Wade remove themselves, judge rules

If Willis is removed, it would hobble her case against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants.

A Georgia judge ruled that Willis will not be disqualified from prosecuting the racketeering case against Trump and several co-defendants — but because of the appearance of impropriety she or the special prosecutor she had a relationship with must step down from the case.

The choice is likely to be an easy one: If Willis were to remove herself, the case would come to a halt, but having Wade leave the case will ensure it continues without further delay.

The justice system in this country is worse now than it was before the pedophile took over the White Hut.

Fanny has a license to lie. She can make up facts at will.

Any conviction cannot possibly stand the appeal process. This is a turd of a case, that get's stinkier every passing day.

This “judge” twisted himself into a pretzel to allow Fanny to continue persecuting Trump and his associates. Banana Republic stuff.

At least this hack will be replaced in the next election. The morons voting in this blue crap hole are 73% Biden voters (Dem plantation residents). First, he allows the slanders of Big Fanni to be aired and then the racist “judge” disses a “proud black guy”. Not to worry, he’ll be off to bigger, better things at DOJ. A life of unchallenged luxury in DC will be the payoff.

McAfee, a young man with a long road to hoe in his profession, has just branded himself on his forehead the word coward.

This case, like the Colorado Supreme Court ballot removal ruling, called/screamed for a 9-0 vote and instead McAfee gave it a 4.5 to 4.5 vote.

I see ambulance chasing in his future.

Judge could have made a courageous ruling, but since he is running for election, he muffed the call.

Of course, he thought that he could finesse this decision to keep his election chances alive, even though he now has a leftist opponent backed by Fani Willis.

He is a spineless coward and election-wise, dead candidate walking.

Prosecutor lies under oath.

She gets a pass.

A woman of color who wears her dress backwards probably checks every box.

Because I don’t keep up with the latest trends in perversion, I suspect that is some form of crossdressing and I’d give that a T as in LGBTQ.

So even though she’s massively corrupt.....even though she obviously perjured herself.....even though she admitted to the use of campaign funds for personal expenses which is a FELONY in her own testimony...........

Clown world.

It’s as if the Powers that Be want the public to have zero confidence in the justice system. Never to expect justice. It’s like the metaphor in “1984” of a boot stomping on a human face, forever.

Judge McAfee punted, leaving it for a higher court to remove and hopefully disbar Willis.

It was a given he was going to punt, but on second/third down?

“I said from the beginning that this judge is as dirty as it gets and you could tell by the way he was supporting her from the very beginning, defending her covering for her and leading her attorneys to do the right thing all pointed to the fact that this whole thing is rigged”

I had more faith in the judge doing the right thing. It is depressing to see how corrupt the legal system has become. Just 10 years ago, for a judge to rule in this manner on such an obvious case of conflict was the exception and not the rule. And EVERY reputable attorney would be aghast at the ruling. Now, the judge has little worries about the loss of his reputation or the future of his career. Instead, being corrupt improved his career chances.
