Washington State pioneered the types of shenanigans that were used to rig the 2020 and 2022 elections. Mail in voting started here in 1983 and our elections have been 100% mail since 2011. Strangely enough one party has taken over every branch of state government, including our Supreme Court. What a surprise!

The dummy 29,810 votes for Nikki Haley were thrown away on someone who dropped out of the race. I was shocked that the Washington State Secretary of State had other candidates who dropped out, given on the primary ballot:

Republican Candidates************ Page
Chris Christie...........................................9
Ron DeSantis.......................................... 10
Nikki Haley..............................................11
Vivek Ramaswamy..................................12
Donald J. Trump......................................13

WA looks better than I expected

But the 27% turnout is a lazy low.

I’m a legal resident of WA state, but I spend a lot of time in Hawaii.
I can say they are essentially both single party state run by the big metropolitan areas and all others be damned.
states need an “electoral” college just to make rural people get a voice, like they do at the federal level.

I moved to Queen Anne in 2004, about six months before the Bush v. Kerry election.

I walked to and from work each day, to downtown Seattle and back, about 20-25 minutes each way, with a choice of about three different streets, which I would change almost every day.

During those walks I saw thousands of Kerry bumper stickers or Kerry for President signs in apartment windows.

A couple weeks before the election, I saw one (!) Bush for President sticker, on a car, that was being towed away!

Incredibly, Bush got almost 35% of the King County vote in 2004.

Since then, McCain and Romney were below 30%, and Trump barely squeaked over 20%.

How do we know we can trust that turnout number?

I wouldn’t, not without an audit.

That said, if able-bodied Americans are too lazy to get their butts to the polls, then we deserve what we get.

>Just ask Governor Rossi.

They had to pump out hundreds of votes for that one. The GOP just sat back and did nothing.

Rulers come and Rulers go. It has been that way ever
since Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. White
males ruled and the natives were put on reservations.
Then they went across the ocean to Africa and brought
in their peoples to do the grunt labor, both male and
female. A civil war was fought in the mid 1800s to give
them rights not given to slaves. Life goes on and the
world keeps changing. Heck there may be some living
on one of the foreign planets before long.

Enjoy your three score and ten as best you can.

Good idea re state-level electoral colleges. That would definitely help with the insane level of fraud in the Rat infested urban strongholds.

That’s crazy. It’s one of the few things that Rats do well — voter turnout. Hopefully the RNC will improve given the new leadership.
