Hmmm...In the future, a particularly brutal attack by "Ukrainian" terrorists against Russian civilians in an area removed from the war zone could ignite the Bear's fury.

Such an occurrence would be very difficult to investigate, whilst Putin reaped the benefits of an enraged populace demanding Ukrainian blood. This sort of thing has been known to happen in the past. Surely this has not escaped the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's thoughts...
