Higher ages and lower standards are not a good combination.

And that's normal aging.
**I am 74 and still drive professionally. I am a safe driver and have been for years. I drive carefully and defensively.**
I’ll be 70 in July. Class A CDL, and have always had good enough health to receive the 2 year medical exam certificate. No HBP, not overweight. Just corrected vision.
Got my CDL in 2001, and no wrecks, just one speeding violation in over 1,500,000 commercial miles. In my professional career I’ve had plenty of close calls with bad drivers, and have almost caused a few accidents myself. But by the grace of God I’ve been spared.
I received four speeding tickets in my personal driving (all in sports/muscle cars, all before age 24. Should have had a lot more. ;)
