Did any networks ever refuse to Air any anti Trump ads, ever?
I'd say probably as they didn't want the anti-Trump competition to their regular programming.

No “Willie Horton type ads” (as defined by CNN) will be tolerated by CNN in this election.
CNN will do whatever “blocking and tackling “ is required to protect Biden and the democrats.
