I think you are very confused about geography. NorthWest Indiana is close to Chicago, not NorthEast Indiana which is not really near any large city except that Ft Wayne is in that section of the state. This is SouthEast Indiana. Largest nearby city is Cincinnati.

Yeah, looked it up. This area is closer to Cincinnati.

Shocked to discover this school is 97% white. I didn't think that was allowed anymore.

I am in NW Indiana, one of the spots of blue in red Indiana. We are a suburb of Chicago. My town, home to the Midwest’s largest oil refinery, went 66% for anti-oil Biden.
