Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke out in support of Hamas Saturday, decrying claims that the group is a terror organization and insisting that his government stands behind it.
“No one can make us qualify Hamas as a terrorist organization,” Erdogan, 70, insisted during a speech in Istanbul. “Turkey is a country that speaks openly with Hamas leaders and firmly backs them.”
Erdogan also slammed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war, which started when Hamas launched a deadly terror attack on southern Israel on Oct. 7. “Netanyahu and his administration, with their crimes against humanity in Gaza, are writing their names next to Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin, like today’s Nazis,” he scoffed.

Why is lousy Turkey a member of NATO?
Well, it’s partly in Europe.
Coming from a damn Turk that is really rich— the original Allies of Germany in Both WWI and WWII, Turks. The Pasha Turks absolute genocide against Armenian Christians primarily but also the minorities of Jews and other ethnics.
This clown Erdogan who has said he will be the next and only Caliph of Islamofascists has some detestable scum thoughts and deeds. Calling Israelis nazis is absolutely NUTS.
Zelensky was just in Turkey this past week meeting with Erdogan. According to articles, Zelensky turned down Erdogan's offer to hold a peace summit between Ukraine and Russia, in Turkey. Zelensky also toured a shipbuilding factory that is making ships for Ukraine.
With NATO allies like Turkey who needs enemies.
Turkey became a secular country and removed its attachment to Islam after getting its ass kicked in WWI. Erdogan returns to embracing Islam and Islamic terrorists. He is taking Turkey back to the dark ages. Having started a war by targeting the civilian population of a neighbor, Hamas must be removed, and the future of Gaza is an open question. Erdogan could let the Gazans move to Turkey, but he doesn’t want them either.
Meanwhile this jerk of a turk considers Murds as terrorists. Kurds are the largest ethnic group in the world that does not have jt’s own country. Hopefully Israel will do what it can to help the Kurds become a nation state. Far more deserving of one than the arab colonisers in the levant and beyond

Not quite. Turkey stayed neutral until 1945. Declared war on Germany at almost the last minute. They have a lot of bad acts but joining the Axis isn’t one.
