Those jobs are soul sucking. I did it for 20 years before opening my own business. If they can figure a way to avoid it good for them.

All this time all I had to do is declare im not going to work very hard.. or at all.. and suddenly everything is better?
So the headline is deceptive?

Well, thats the thing. Giving the world and or its expectations of you and following your own path has an air of “rugged individualism” to it.
Not giving a damn but retreating to your mothers basement to mark time gaming and smoking weed and ordering grub-hub delivery on moms credit card is a totally different animal.
I see more of the latter, few of the former, though a true “rugged individualist” would simply do their thing and the world wouldnt know.
Im talking N=15 or so. Mileage may vary.
These kids make me laugh. They really do not GAF. It's actually commendable in this climate.
They figure that Universal Income will become a thing.
There’s huge money in being an influencer. If some can get into that business, thry could do well. Corporations don’t care about workers. Finally, workers are waking up to that. Maybe corporations will have to go back to treating their workers with respect.

Individually I try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
Otherwise, the whole gen Z nonsense is another tool they use to decive people.
THEY have NOT figured that out yet.
MAYBE they all think that “Participation trophies can translate into a paycheck.
A person has to have a “SOUL” in the first place.
NOT sure these miscreants do.
RESPECT IS EARNED
low IQ people are often led astray by misleading information.
My entire life I have heard stories about how much money strippers and such earn. And yet, they are all poor! This is because earning $500 in one night, is not the same as earning $500 every night. The same is true for many professions where people will proudly declare how much they earned in one day.
Get a decent education, obey the law, get married, watch your spending and work consistently and the money and security will come with time.
I was the elderly thought that way. They think they are entitled. They are not special.
