Suspected gang member arrested for murder of child in Athens drive-by shooting

A suspected gang member was arrested early Saturday in connection with a drive-by shooting that killed a 3-year-old boy hours earlier at an eastside Athens trailer park.

One of the gangs reportedly bragged about the shooting on social media.

Julian Omar Cubillos was booked into jail at 3:30 a.m. for malice murder, criminal gang activity and multiple counts of aggravated assault in connection to the death of Kyron Zarco at Hallmark Estates off of Spring Valley Road.

When fatally shot at about 5:30 p.m. Friday,

The child was watching TV with his 9-year-old brother who also was shot, as was an adult male who is suspected of belonging to an Athens street gang.

The incident is said by law enforcement to have arisen from a rivalry between the EBE and RTG street gangs.

Another murder in Athens, Georgia. This time a 3 year-old child. The leftist ACC commissioners and police chief in Athens may find themselves in serious trouble come time for the November elections. Voters are becoming fed up with crime and the fact the DA lets so many criminals go with little repercussions.

The article doesn't indicate the citizenship status of the suspect, but I expect he too is an illegal alien.

I’m so glad brain dead Biden continues to want to disarm law abiding citizens in order to prevent crimes like this. I’m sure if he accomplishes that by the time he is finished the cartels will have thousands of guns ready to ship across our open borders into the hands of criminals like this.
