Same here, although Cruz is 100% TONE DEAF as to what comes with his position as a US Senator, as evidenced by his trip to Mexico during our Deep Freeze. Doesn’t affect my vote for him in November (nor did it affect my Primary vote this week), but, sadly, it does affect others, millions of others...and when you won your last election by something like 3 points, there isn’t much room to be an idiot.
I suspected that dumb trip to Mexico was going to affect his election.

It could, and it would, if Texas was a purple state. As it is, I doubt the Democrats contest Texas, given that they cannot even win the Hispanic vote against Trump, so Cruz will likely be able to slip-in on Trump’s coattails.

Biden opened the border by reversing Trumps policies in the first weeks of his term. He could secure the border by the same executive power if he wanted to.
The so called “bipartisan” bill to secure the border was a sham. It included the poison pill clause that would allow almost 2 million illegals to cross into the USA every year.
The Biden Border Invasion would have continued at full throttle if the “bipartisan” bill would have passed. But now Biden and his toadies in the Corrupt Liberal News Media will push the big lie that the Border scandal is Trumps fault.
