What Hamas will do is steal anything that is delivered and sell it back to the people. The United States has no business in taking on the responsibility of building a pier, unless the Israelis requested their assistance. If they did, the Israelis should be responsible for managing all activities that are done there. How many Israeli lives have been lost due to ‘letting’ the UN or US operate? I understand your compassion, but in the real world, the Israelis have been taught an expensive lesson over the years - they must control, or Hamas will.

There will be others as time goes by. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will all have major parts to play.

The sea access from Cyprus is prelude to the actual game that won’t begin until Hamas is dead and gone.

The Palestinian protectorate that will be is not going to be a replay of the fake nation that was, There is a new game. The old game is finally over but that fact is not yet realized by those who can’t visualize anything but the old game.

I agree, it is certainly important that a good on the ground supervision and distribution system be put in place with proper protection and policing of distribution directly to the population, rather than to poorly vetted “officials.” Let us pray that is what happens.
