Well some of this may be a bit overboard. Some of it is simply a free speech issue. I don’t think someone should be a registered sex offender by referring to John as Jane because John asked to be called Jane. Just like someone shouldn’t be forced to use words, they almost always shouldn’t be prosecuted for them either.
