I am declining the 2nd due to too many stories like yours.
They pushed the shingles vax on me after a very mild case of shingles years ago. I took elderberry and it cleared up quickly. I know shingles can be miserable but at this point, I simply do not trust the medical establishment.
I had to get a tetanus shot last year. I asked and was told it had a mfg date of 2015. Hopefully they were telling me the truth. In hindsight I would have asked to see the vial itself.
It was like you body below your waist was sitting on a loose trailer hitch 'ball' supporting the upper half...make a sudden move and you'd snap your spine. Had to walk gingerly for a month.
My saintly Sicilian grandmother contracted Shingles. She suffered terribly...thus my decision to be 'protected'.
