The government we toppled was on good terms with Russia and by Hillary THAT COULD NOT STAND, so oops, Maidan Coup.
And where did that get us?
Untold thousands dead, Zelensky tweaking on TV, and people online drumming for another pointless war we have no business being involved in.

Yanukovych was on too good of terms with Russia. He betrayed Ukraine by selling out to the Russians and reneging on the Ukraine-EU agreement that he had earlier supported and which had been approved by the parliament. The Ukrainian people, not the CIA, removed him. In any case, there were two elections afterwards in which the Ukrainian people, not the CIA, chose the president. Any CIA involvement was incidental. Maidan would have happened without it. The CIA is not the all-powerful boogeyman that some believe. Regardless of what had happened in 2014, it does not justify Russia’s invasion.
