Military officials attribute much of their success so far to the superior technology and NATO-standard training that international partners have provided...
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last week revealed that about 31,000 Ukrainian forces have died in combat since Russia invaded the country on Feb. 24, 2022 – while Russian troop death totals are closer to 180,000...
“31,000 Ukrainian military personnel have been killed in this war. Not 300,000, not 150,000, not whatever Putin and his deceitful circle have been lying about." ...
Officials here affirmed to The Post that Russian forces have been dying at a rate of roughly six to one compared to Ukraine’s troops. The number of wounded is likely just as high, as a US intelligence report declassified in December estimated that roughly 315,000 Russian troops – or roughly 87% of the number that originally invaded the country in 2022 – had been killed or injured...
The result is that while thousands of Ukrainians volunteer to defend their country, Russia is turning to hardened criminals to compensate for a lack of trained troops.
But treatment of forces is not just about respecting human rights and the laws of war – caring for troops makes a big difference in combat efficiency, which the US and its allies know well. Senior American defense officials have spoken frequently of the advantage Ukrainians have on the battlefield in fighting spirit alone.
The captain estimated that NATO-standard weapons can do the same damage as 10 rounds of Moscow’s Soviet-era artillery in about three shots...
The benefits of the western quality of equipment extends to the medical sphere, said Steve Donnelly, an American who has been training frontline medics since the war’s early days...

Now who can argue with that?
And while the Russians are flailing around, they'll be taking out UKEs.
You're a cold-hearted creep making a toast to, and wishing for, another year of bloodshed and misery.
And yet you never, ever, say anything critical about the monster who started this whole war by invading a sovereign country without provocation - Putin
>And yet you never, ever, say anything critical about the monster who started this whole war by invading a sovereign country without provocation - Putin<
Without provocation?
Putin could have stood by and watched as UKE forces committed genocide against the Russian speaking people in the Donbas region.
He could have stood by and watched as NATO moved into Ukraine and took over the navy base at Sevastopol which Russia controlled since 1782.
OR he could act to protect Russia’s interests.
Always making excuses for the monsters
Do you like Hamas too, like Putin does?

Do you like Hamas too, like Putin does?>
Oh yeah...Putin calls me up every morning and tells who to like, what to eat and when to walk my dogs.
You are a COMPLETE MORON.

I sympathize with the Ukrainian people but in my opinion this brand new shiny war was caused by BIDEN; the man who for 36 years was WRONG on ever single foreign policy decision ever made, the man who as vice president was nothing but a MOUTH piece, the man who even OBAMA said “just leave it up to Joe, he can F#CK UP ANYTHING”.
Thanks democrats, thank stupid Americans(only about 50% of joes votes were fraudulent), thanks congress, thanks senate, thanks computerized vote counting.
To all the Ukrainians and Russians who will die in this BIDEN CAUSED WAR, just tell joe he will have your vote in the next election!

My sentiments, exactly.
“Only a surrender will save what’s left of Ukraine.”
Weren’t you clowns supposed to be dancing jigs in Kiev 2 years ago?
And how’s that conference of islamic savages going?
L
So what’s your point?
I don’t think that Putin can expect even a Pyrric victory.
I suspect that wounded Ukrainian soldiers willingly return to the battlefield.
“Casualties” include these patriots...
Post one article favorable towards Ukraine, and find a host of pro-Putin supporters ready to debunk, call propaganda, call names, spread disinformation, and add nothing to the conversion.
But, when one of these same chest-pounding Pro Putin people post multiple articles favorable to Russia, it is the absolute truth, not propaganda, another place to pile on Ukraine and its supporters.
The land Russia annexed was all the land they intended to liberate.
But, since NATO won't accepted the proxy war it wanted has failed, the Russians will forced to take even more land to protect Russian Federation territory. Nothing will stop that from happening except a surrender.
We all know, though, idiots like you don't care what happens to Ukraine or how many Ukrainians die. You're obsessed with a hatred of Russia no better how self-destructive that obsession is.
