So, mere two weeks after Hochul said law-abiding businesses had nothing to fear, James announced that she’s using the same law she used against Trump to sue JBS Foods, the world’s largest producer of beef products.
It seems JBS ran afoul of James by announcing plans to increase production, thereby also increasing employment and revenue to the state.
But JBS made the grave mistake of boasting about its sustainability measures in company literature. Since raising cattle is inherently bad for the environment — according to St. Greta of Sweden — any plan to increase production is bad for the planet. Therefore, according to James, JBS’s claims of being environmentally conscientious are fraudulent and justify the seizing of its profits.
Perhaps Governor Hochul can go on the radio again and say, My bad. We’ll seize the assets of only Donald Trump, facilitators of mass shootings, and climate criminals. Everybody else is safe. Cross my heart.
James looks like she eats lots of beef ... as in triple cheeseburgers.
Providing food for the people is a crime against the environment.
So much for the claim that this mockery and perversion of the Rule Of Law is only going to touch Trump. I hope there is a special place in Hell for these people.

A Pig suing Cows ,LOL
Kurt Vonnegut world.
New York Businesses were warned after They went after Trump.
They should be shutting down and stopping ALL Sales and Deliveries to the State of New York to mitigate any future damages as a result of this lawsuit.
“The beef industry is one of the largest contributors to climate change, and JBS has falsely advertised its commitment to sustainability and endangered our planet.”
The fool will find it impossible to prove in court that:
1. The beef industry is one of the largest contributors to climate change. How does she know that?
2. JBS has falsely advertised its commitment, etc. How would she know that? What expertise does she have to say that is a correct assessment?
3. That human behavior can change climate. How does she know that? The climate changed drastically while humans still wore loin cloths, if there were any at all.
JBS did make a mistake in merely opening their mouth about climate change. They should have done what all producers should do: Just keep their mouths shut and sell their product.
Standard political whoring for NY AGs. Its been common for 40 years.
Go after a “hated” public company with a political prosecution, to gain publicity, political PR, and probably pay-offs to one’s favored political cronies.
One would have thought this low IQ woke Jihadi would have been busy enough with Trump.
Spitzer did it
Cuomo did
Schneiderman tried it (until he was brought down with a sex scandal)
New Yorkers elect Democrats. Therefore they deserve all the suffering that is inflicted. Pity only the remaining decent, rational minority who for whatever reason cannot move.
Here’s my problem...is it a crime?? Of course not...
Food companies and fuel companies should leave these communist blue states and give the idiots who vote for these tyrants what they voted for good and hard.
This has nothing to do with the environment but control of the food supply. You have animals farting and crapping in the Serengeti daily in Africa and people in India literally crap outdoors and no one bats an eye.
It's all a scam folks.
A moron and a menace. Dangerous combination.
Yeah, I am real worried about climate change.
In 200 years the oceans might rise 6 inches.
Meanwhile, the chemical toxins in our drugs, food and water will wipe us all out in 20 years or so.
So it is not really the main threat.
Here’s the bottom line: If you’re in New York and have big bucks, sooner or later Letitia James is going to sue you. Fortunately, you have options.
Option #1: Contribute heavily to Democrats in general and Letitia James in particular. You’ll probably be left alone. For now, anyway.
Option #2: Get out of New York.
As I’ve said before, I don’t know why anyone one does business in NY.
This kind of crap has got to stop. I think there should be a cost associated when you bring suit and lose. If James sues JBS and loses, the state of New York must pay all legals costs of the defendant including legal fees and court costs. That might help slow down frivolous law suits and help “unclog” the courts.
