The judge would have responded: "How does the First Amendment apply here? You put the damned bumper sticker(s) on your car for the whole world to see."
What right does some self-appointed authority have to question what bumper stickers you have on your car?
THAT’s how the 1st amendment applies here.
I would then respond, "Did the defendant see the sticker? Did the other jurors see the sticker? You have no right to ask me my religion and if you ask me about the John 3:16 bumper sticker on my car, then you'll find out about Austin 3:16 and some other judge will be hearing this case."
