An appeals court judge Wednesday denied a request by former President Donald Trump to pause enforcement of the $454 million judgment he was ordered to pay in his New York civil fraud case.
But Judge Anil Singh’s ruling in Manhattan Supreme Court allows Trump and his two adult sons to stay in control of their companies while the former president seeks to appeal the massive fine.
The Trumps can also continue to apply for loans from financial institutions chartered or registered in New York during this time, the judge ruled.

The corrupt process becomes the punishment. Banana Republic stuff.
The court tells Trump he can get loans to cover the fine for taking out loans.
Another trap for Trump as he assesses the value of his collateral... again.
The more the US Left and DC deep-state criticizes Putin, the more they look exactly like the caricature of him they created.
They already spent his $454 Million and gave themselves bonuses. Really.
He’s not going to oay one cent.
FNY. Send more aliens.
They are never going to leave him alone. Even if he wins the presidency, they are going to continue to be on his back. The only way to stop these pieces of shit is investigating them …finding as much dirt as they can about them. Trump has to fill every nook and cranny in DC at the DOJ,FBI and CIA with people that are loyal to him. They’re smiling and popping champagne bottles right now but eventually every spiteful thing they do will boomerang against them. I for one cannot wait when those bastards tables flip.
Ok, Trump wins and sues the government for his money back? Would they pay him back? Also would they pay the same high interest rate they charged him in until they pay?
You would have to be a lunatic to take out a loan in the state of New York.
If he tells them to piss off, he wins in the pols (still loses a rigged election) but goes bankrupt in New York and its has a Dominoe effect across his empire.
If he pays it, does he get to write it off as a loss on his taxes? Also if he pays it, everyone else everywhere will see that it works and will start the domino effect.
What to do...
Riigghht. And set Trump up for failure as he over values his assets in order to get a favorable loan rate.
Thereby creating another 454 million dollar penalty assesed by lawfare loving judges.
Lather. Rinse, Repeat.
“Ok, Trump wins and sues the government for his money back? Would they pay him back? Also would they pay the same high interest rate they charged him in until they pay?”
If he posts a bond or collateral, he won’t have to pay the government anything until the appeal is resolved. That’s the whole point.
Now if he decided not to do that and the government enforced the judgment in the interim, and he wins an appeal, I’m not actually sure what the recourse is in that situation.
Oh wow, another Real American™
A Sikh says no relief for the President of the United States?
Gosh. Guess nobody from this country was available for the NY Appellate courts.
Party time in NYC.
Why not make Trump pay for illegals to stay in NYC?
Justice Anil Singh!
How many judges has Trump gone before that are foreign born?
8th Amendment to the US Constitution:
“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”
A higher court NEEDS TO STEP IN TO PREVENT THIS UNJUST TRAVESTY.
every single leftist needs to have every bank loan they ever submitted subpoenaed so we can expose that they themselves have done exactly what they say Trump did which is to over value their homes.
