what they didn’t mention is that this was a Chinese doctor. The doctor told Biden ‘get on all 4’s and crawl away from me towards the wall’. Biden got a stupid look on his face but followed the directions. Then the doctor said ‘do it again but crawl towards me’. Uhhh, okay...then Biden says to the doctor, ‘why am I doing this’? The doctor says, ‘you have Ed Zachary disease’...’Ed Zachary disease’!!?? What’s that??

I’m more familiar with more formal cognitive testing I had to build some data capture systems (just nurses keying in data, no video feed or such) from asking patients questions. I believe the CASI tests were formalized in part so comparisons could be made across ages, or after strokes, etc.
We really should be keeping a list of those who say, “Joe is fine!”. They’re all in on it.

I’m 74 years old and every time I go for my yearly checkup, my doctor gives me a small cognitive test. It’s not comprehensive. Just some general tests. He will tell you to draw a picture of a clock with the hands showing a certain time. At the beginning, he will give me a few words to remember and at the end of the tests will ask me to repeat the words.
