Gen Z Loves Donald Trump More Than Any Other Age Group
Newsweek ^ | 2/27/24 | Ewan Palmer

Posted on 02/27/2024 2:24:55 PM PST by CFW

Donald Trump has a higher approval rating among young adults than any other age demographic, according to a poll.

A Harvard CAPS–Harris survey of more than 2,000 registered voters showed that 57 percent approved of the job the Republican did as president, with 41 percent saying they disapproved.

When the results are broken down further, they show that almost two-thirds (64 percent) of voters in Generation Z—or those aged 18 to 24—approved of Trump's job as president. The age range of this demographic means some respondents were children during Trump's time in office, 2017 to 2021.

However, the results could be yet another warning sign for President Joe Biden's reelection hopes. In 2020, young voters were crucial in Biden's victory, as Generation Z and millennials supported Biden over Trump by margins of about 20 points in the record-breaking turnout, according to analysis by the Pew Research Center.

"We don't know enough yet," Neil O'Brian, a political scientist at the University of Oregon, told Axios. "But this idea that young people are gonna keep populating into the Democratic Party? There are some question marks around that."

Not really, that Gen-Jones stuff is not what the real discussions are about and have been about for more than a half century the real generation is the 18 year generation of 1946-1964.

That is the kind of sneaky, personal, out-of-the-blue, even stalking attack that mocks your claims of being such a Christian as you often try to portray yourself as.

Before Baby Boomers, it was known as the “Silent Generation”. The birth rate was lower during the Great Depression (but still higher than today).

Perhaps these young people are looking at TWO scenarios:

THE MEDIA PREFERENCES:

1. Young people gathering to protest everything from SKY to CENTER EARTH...looting, stealing, setting fires, committing crimes...and

2. A HAPPY RESPITE FROM ALL THAT AND WATCHING A PRES TRUMP RALLY, WHERE THERE IS SMILING, LAUGHING, COMMRADERIE, AND BLENDING WITH A VERY, VERY DIVERSE CROWD....PATRIOTS, WELL BEHAVED YET NOT AFRAID TO VOICE THEIR IDEAS...

TWO OPTIONS; WHICH ONE WOULD YOU TAKE??

You came on this thread as a stalker carrying a personal grudge from some past thread, and that has been your only interest in this thread.

“Of “early boomers” and Gen Jones” which had the larger numbers?”

Same number of years, so they are pretty close.

I understand why the did this divide, as Gen Jones didn’t quite get as good an economic deal as the early Boomers.

But I still think there was a huge difference between people like me (born 1964) who got into the labor force in the late 1980s, vs people only 3-4 years younger who started after the 1991 recession and had a much tougher time.

“Struggling to find a job has a way of focusing a young persons mind when they are first starting life as an adult.

The make the job they get near worthless with inflation and you have what we have now. “

It’s much worse for white males trying to get a professional track job. (let alone an academic job). They are just automatically excluded.

“I have absolutely no affiliation with the earlier Boomer group... they were insane, it might have been STDs it might have been the LSD,... “

Talk about rash generalizations. We early Boomers aren’t insane. The ones I know and worked with never did LSD (any drugs), and certainly no STDs. I think we’re a pretty good, successful bunch.

Fantastic news.

As J Carville used to snarl, “it’s the economy stupid”

During the Trump years things were booming. Biden has been a disaster for young people. Tech jobs have cratered and almost half of college grads are working in jobs that require no degree. All of them are also requiried to register with selective service and probably none too thrilled that the world is blowing up and with talk of WW III.
