When top investigative reporter, Catherine Herridge, was laid off at CBS, a lot of heads were shaking. Her layoff made no sense, she was their best performer, their most credible news reporter, the only reason they weren't completely dismissed as a woke and politicized "narrative" and "talking points" outlet.
ABC News and NBC News could make no comparable claims, and MSNBC and CNN, not to mention, NPR, certainly could not.
But, yeah, they got rid of her, just as she was uncovering some incredible political stories in an election year, including new stories about Hunter Biden's laptop and Joe Biden's involvement in Hunter's sleazy business dealings.
According to the Daily Mail:
Citing sources, the New York Post claimed that Herridge had been pursuing a story related to Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop, and that she had 'encountered roadblocks' from management over her coverage of the First Son.
Herridge in November 2022 authenticated the laptop, which the Post had first reported on in October 2020.
Oh, well, they didn't want those stories. And they didn't want that powerful traffic they would draw to the network. Whatevs. Some news networks like to stay small.
Except that then they refused to give Herridge back her reporter files and computers, her valued notes, and lists of leakers, and all the people she talked to to get her standout stories.
Ahem. Then things started to look different.
Seems they didn't just want her stories on her broadcasts, they wanted to silence her so she couldn't tell more of these stories. They claimed the files were company property, but that's nonsense.
Here's why that's a load of bee ess: Number one, that's not done and all of those people at that network know it.

The files were sent to DNC/FBI so the witnesses could be managed.
Fired by Joe’s boss. This is WAAAY over Joe’s head.
The reason is easy. Everything is done to protect Biden and his ilk,and the continued destruction of American Christian values.

Excellent investigative reporter. Fox should re-hire her. She sacrificed part of her liver to say her son’s life. She follows in the footsteps of Bernard Goldberg and Sharyl Atkisson as CBS reporters who got too far off the reservation in questioning liberal narratives. If what was done to Sharyl Atkisson while she was questioning liberal narratives during the Obama Administration were done to a liberal reporter during the Trump Administration, the press would scream bloody murder. Sharyl Atkisson was being spied on.
No one F’s with a Biden.
Everything leads to Biden.
Hence my theory of why Obama chose Chomo Joe as VP. Obama wanted in the club. He was a nobody before he was tapped as the great magic-negro (H.T. DAVID EHRENSTEIN, LA Times) savior of the marxist revolution. Obama didn’t know how to get access to all the corrupt officials and money changers. Obama didn’t have all the dirt on congress critters or agency heads. Joe does. Joe will not let Obama outshine him. I catch a lot of crap for this. I’m not saying Joe is some genius mastermind. He is a stupid arrogant POS but he is doing what he wants done.
When I worked at office jobs—accounting, etc.-—I used MY OWN calculator-—stapler—staples—staple remover—and my own pens & pencils & erasers, etc.
When I became self-employed, I used a Haliburton case & carried all my needed supplies with me to every client.
MY PORTABLE OFFICE - STILL HAVE IT & THE CONTENTS.
If Herridge had any faith in the integrity of CBS’s leadership, then she was a delusional fool.
I think it is more sinister. I think they want to see if she had access to classified material. The DOJ wants a reason to put her in jail.

They canned a whole bunch of people. Are her records the only ones confiscated?
The MMS is just the propaganda agency of the left, and they all move in lockstep. The DNC issues the talking points and that’s what they produce. No deviation tolerated. Anything new that comes along is filtered through the correct “information managers” to be approved for distribution or not, and if approved it’s slanted correctly. She must have had some damaging info that needed to be suppressed and she evidently wasn’t amenable to the usual handling of such information. I believe she’s one of the last true journalists around.
