GOP = graceful losers and enablers of the dem-o-rats.
GOP establishment has given away most of the farm by Going Along to Get Along, resulting in destruction of many institutions and the tattering of the Constitution. before us is the Line in the Sand. i think they are the minority and gratefully JoeyBoy has been such a screw-up that opportunity knocks. no time for complacency but the time for showing up and fighting back. #2024.
Euphemism for surrendermonkey loserdom.
WTF is “respectable conservatism”?
They are speaking, of course, of the bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’T’s.
The bushes siezed control of the party in 1988 and have never let go.
President Trump took the party away from the bushes.
They do not like that one bit.
On the state level, we are winning, only to lose again.
This party is less than useless, until we get rid of the bushes.
GOPE’s version of conservatism is conserving leftist victories.
We are the radicals now—rejecting the propaganda and goals of every institution controlled by leftists.
There are no “shared values” any more.
All we have these days is enemy occupied territory.
What the GOP leadership does not realize is that they are the ones who created Trump by betraying the base for so long.
the biggest mistake that anyone can make is to think that this dies after trump is no longer active politicly.
It’s We the People. They can either follow or get out of the way. We have trusted them for way too long.
It’s the neocons who aren’t really conservative. Trump is more paleo, like Pat Buchanan.
The GOP has not heard our cries. We don’t want their personal enrichment. We want the Nation to prosper and build a base to support it.
Evidence: Mitt Romney.
The GOP Establishment does not work for us. It works for its major donors who are globalists.
The donors want a GOP who will only pretend to oppose the globalist agenda. They want a “pro wrestling” show, where the Republicans will take a dive on command.
Their version of ‘conservative’ was a do-nothing for conservatives, while enriching themselves, and pandering to lobbyists. They failed by not representing real conservatives, then Trump came along. While he wasn’t a ‘polite conservative’ he knew a bulldog was what was required, it wasn’t about being nice but about setting things back to something that resembled an ethical government that wasn’t financially raping its citizens.
Trump may not be around for long but we’re all going to be looking for the same type of character - one that’s actually willing to do what needs to be done, to hell with DC.
Ronald Reagan had to deal with this in 1980 when the lapdog Republicans couldn't deal with a real conservative and many pushed John Anderson into the race. By 1984, the RINOs of the day had realized that Ronald Reagan was a force of nature and they resigned themselves to ride out the storm until they could get one of their own counterfeits in place which they did with George H.W. Bush.
